You know, the classifications of an antique are usually, it has to be 50 years or older, hand made, hand painted and possibly English. Well we invite you to stay in our traditional ANTIQUE guest house. It's over 120 years old(c.1883), hand made, hand painted and it is British owned!
Wake up to the smell of bacon sizzling in the pan and a pot of fresh coffee brewing on the stove. Come down for a full cooked English breakfast served country style in our dining room, sit and read the morning newspaper or chat with newly made friends.
As we are a family business we do cater for our smaller guests, something other establishments in the area don't do. Pets are usually welcome by prior arrangement with health certification subject to the room availability. We also offer our guests high speed wireless internet access, for those people who are always on the go, even when they are supposed to be on vacation!
The main house has five guest rooms. Three of the rooms have private bathrooms and most have refrigerators and microwave ovens. We are working through the house steadily upgrading all the facilities and decor. The house has now recovered from a recent identity crisis as it underwent a transforming paint job. Our regular guests can testify to this. (see old picture below)
We also have a cottage that sleeps up to 6 people, although it is very rarely available.
